Who should not undergo such a programme?

The liver detox programme is not suitable for children under 6, the very elderly people, pregnant and lactating mothers.

What will happen if I don't detox

The efficacy of liver will be reduced and will not work 100% to its capacity as the liver is overloaded. Other organs are used to eliminate the toxins. One of which is the skin. As a result, eczema, pimples, acne, psoriasis appears.

The liver starts to fail, metabolism will be prone to allergies. The toxins cannot go out of the body and it gets deeper into the system and expresses in another way, such as cancer and organ failure.

What should I do?

It is important that you persist through this and keep taking BITREEN® Neem capsules. The 'healing crisis' would resolve by itself within two weeks. You might notice other effect as well. In the first few days, your tongue may be more coated in the morning. Your first urine may be more pungent and deeper in colour. Your sweat may also be more pungent and staining. Your faeces would be more pungent and deeper in colour.

Although you may get loose stools, there would be no diarrhoea. All these are signs of deep cleansing. As your liver is enhanced, your metabolism will be cranked up. As your metabolism is enhanced, you will feel better, have more energy and even sleep better.

What is the initial effect after taking BITREEN®?

BITREEN® works naturally but slowly. It works from deep within. After a few days of taking BITREEN®, you may notice an initial worsening symptom. This is natural and to be expected. It is self-limiting and will usually resolve by itself. It is called a 'Healing Crisis'. This happens as the enhanced liver works to throw out old and impacted toxins.

The toxins would usually leave the body by the channel of least resistance. This usually results in a flaring up of the very symptoms that you are attempting to treat. Your acne may flare up. Your eczema will be reactivated. Your rash may become red and itchy. Your sinus may act up. All these are signs that BITREEN® is working.

How BITREEN® can help in blood purification?

All elimination of toxins must go through the liver, which is the largest organ in the body. The liver is the organ that can do blood purification. Toxins accumulated over the years eg: nitrites, nitrates and the sulphites normally get trapped and stored in the body as fat-soluble toxins. BITREEN® enhances the liver to work better by hydrolyzing the fat compounds of toxins and converting it to more water-soluble compounds that can come out through the sweat and urination. This purifies and cleanses blood.

Is BITREEN® safe for consumption?

Numerous of possible toxicity tests assured that leaf and bark are very low in toxicity especially when taken orally (Khattak, 1985); (Sinnia, 1981, 1983); (Uwaifo, 1984); (Pillai and Santhakumari, 1948b). Neem not only kills some infective organisms directly but also boosts the immune response on several levels. This increases the body's ability to fight bacterial, viral and fungicidal infections itself. BITREEN® appears to be very safe to consume in reasonable quantities.

Compare Milk thistle and Dandelion, what are the differences?

There is no known direct comparison done with these two liver enhancing herbs. However, a comparison trial done with another liver enhancing herb known as andrographis paniculata proved better than milk thistle and dandelion. Neem has better medicinal properties than andrographis paniculata. Furthermore, Dr. Deepak Chopra mentions that all vibrations and herbal products close to our environment work best. Neem is from the east and its vibrations suit Easterners better.

How can I benefit from standardised neem extract?

With standardised neem extract you are assured of getting a potent and guaranteed quantity from BITREEN® in dose after dose. It will be absolutely consistent from batch to batch and always containing the same amount of neem extract. Non-standardised neem extracts cannot claim a consistent percentage of activity in every dose because their potency and effect may vary.

How is BITREEN® different from all the other neem products?

BITREEN® is the first and only standardised neem extract. Standardised extracts are far superior to non-standardised extracts. Standardisation is a standard measure of neem’s quality and activity. This measure is determined by how much of a special active or marker ingredient is in each neem product. For example, each BITREEN® Neem capsules contains 100mg of standardised neem extract which provides 3% of total bitters.

Why detoxification?

Detoxification is a necessity today due to our increasingly toxic modern lifestyles. We accumulate a lot of toxins in our daily living. An average person stores between 5 to 25 pounds of waste in the body and roughly 4 pounds of bacteria in the colon. Our food is highly processed with artificial colouring, flavouring and preservatives. Our air and waters are polluted. As a result, the liver is overstressed due to the overwhelming amount of toxins. This can lead to various mild to serious ailments.

Which organ needs neem most?

The amazing liver is the largest internal organ of the body. It is the seat of metabolism. It is a vital organ that can cleanse the inner part of your body of toxins. It turns fat-soluble toxins into harmless water-soluble by-products that could be easily washed out by the kidneys as urine.

In Ayurveda, the liver is seen as a bitter organ. All things that pass through it are made bitter. A major by-product of the liver is bile which is indeed very bitter. It is believed that naturally occurring bitters can enhance the liver.

What is blood purification?

The concept of blood purification is somewhat new to modern medicine. However, it is central to a holistic treatment paradigm. Purified blood would wash and soothe the internal organs. It has a very powerful health promoting effect. Since toxins are viewed as the cause of all illness, blood purification is central in all modalities of traditional healing.
